I often catch them with razz and great curveball throws but during mewtwo raid hour I kept hearing how the catch rate was 6% and people gloating about how they catch it on their first throw and yet, I would catch mewtwo on the sixth or seventh throw and the last mewtwo I tried to catch escaped.
I have heard that curveball throws are a must and that excellent throws are overrated, to just try to land my throws and it should be fine.
