He called out Smogon on their bullshit many times. Fuck Smogon forever, I hope their servers die in a fire.
More importantly, he called out fucking TPCI for not following their own rules in VGC multiple times. For that alone, I'm grateful that he's popular on YouTube. It's not a stretch to assume that Verlis publicly embarrassing TPCI is probably what prompted Game Freak to code anti-time-stall rules into gen 7's online mode... and for that I am ever grateful.
But yeah, he's far from great. Verlis puts me to sleep, like I said.
