>>13512376>many of whom have moved on and stopped playingNot true anymore, it's actually the younger demographic that are being introduced to an playing the games less and less; the people that started around Red and Blue started returning rapidly with HGSS and BW, and the huge number of preorders already placed indicates that sales will probably be top-heavy again with the older fans driving first week sales drastically.
And I'm not really saying it has to be targeted towards us, only made broachable. There's a metric ton of animated shows out there that are targeted towards the younger demographic, but enjoy success with older people.
