I took a break from the Autismolocke, needed it with two tragic runs, and five back-to-back in Kanto. I am back, through Surge and pretty close to fighting Erika in Blue.
I released my Squirtle after Brock since St. Elmo and Erratic would not be able to alone, Misty was less of a pushover with Pikachu than I thought, and forced the rare switch in for me. The rival battles all ran pretty low risk considering I had a Pikachu, and then that additional to a Raticate for the second one. Surge was a chump, Gondoleer solo'd, and I managed to pick up several new mons along the way to Erika. The most interesting, since Geodude is delegated to Gen 2, is the Celadon City Pinsir I RNG'd. Excited to try and champ with them, and Persian (permacrit Slash ffs) but the team is feeling really tight.
Side note, but for the first time ever, I bought potions for St. Anne and it wasn't as difficult as a norm JRPG dungeon. Think I'll do that from now on lol.
