I do not care how "casual" or "kid-friendly" the game is there's no excuse for shit like replacing the rival with some random cuck, removing abilities, and not even being ALLOWED into the gym without a type advantage. If you're going to cut Red and Leaf at least include character customization, a feature very popular with casuals. Cycling Road is dead, Safari Zone is dead, Pewter Gym is dead; anywhere with an overworld puzzle involving HMs is dead, Pokemon Tower will be gimped because it was "too scary" and despite the Game Corner being dead for a decade, you just know there's not going to be any kind of good replacement in Celadon in Let's Go.
If the game was essentially FireRed/LeafGreen in 3D but with the greentext I listed, it would at least be a decent filler til 2019 and good bait for normies. As it stands? This game is an embarrassment to Nintendo/GF and an insult to casuals, genwunners and hardcore alike.
