GF should just listen to the fans
1. walking pokemon (I don't like this, but majority do and doesn't seem to be a problem, so why not)
2. overworld encounter / pokemon
3. open world
4. pokken-tier art
5. battle mechanic that looks like they're really fighting instead of hurling icons.
6. less kiddie more mature pokemon designs (compare gen V with gen VIII)
7. trainer customizations, obviously
8. difficulty setting from the start (easy, normal, hard, extreme ---- or something along those lines)
they can even incorporate lore
easy --- bug catcher
normal --- pkmn trainer
hard --- pokemaniac
extreme --- ace trainer
9. awesome legendaries
10. better story. It's boring just to go through 7 gyms, evil team, 8th gym, E4, champion then post game over and over for 20+ years.
Just cater to the more mature audience for once. I'm sure they'll make big bucks. It'll make us happy. It'll make kids want to learn from us older, more experienced fans, ergo, bringing everyone together.
