while Pokemon's card game is hardly even a gimped version of the Pokemon video game.
You get like two attacks, and a lot of them are made up.
I need resources in order to attack, whereas I don't in Yugioh, and PP hardly ever matters.
And the type system is so barren.
And Yugioh can put out way more designs and archetypes than Pokemon can, so more to play.
Why would I play the Pokemon trading card game instead of the video game, or instead of Yugioh?
Yes, Yugioh has gone to shit this decade, but I can always go back to an earlier form of it
that was more solid, just like with Pokemon's video game,
whereas Pokemon's card game has always been subpar.
