Just got pokemon yellow for my 2ds and decided to try a nuzlocke and remember the old times, right before gary's fight at the ss anne, trying not to be too overleveled.
Had a butterfree and pidgeotto, but switched them for venonat to spice things up, never knew venomoth was a stronger butterfree with leech life.
Mankey is there because i used both it and nidoran to get through pewter gym but it is quickly falling behind the rest of the team, it also has dig because i accidentally critted a digglet and i need something besides nido to beat surge.
I really didnt want to train a gyarados because it almost felt like cheating, but after fighting rocket's drowzee i realized i couldnt do shit against stronger psychics and ground types, then remembered there was not a single type that could resist psychic back then so ill try to keep it as low level as possible at least until i really need it against blaine and giovanni.
Also, just caught a drowzee, takes hits lile a fucking tank, not sure if it would be redundant to have both venonat though, maybe i should drop venonat and keep drowzee, what do you guys think?
