>>18936240I have an idea to take it a step further: why not make the pre-evo mono-Rock, but then when it evolves we make it Poison (to allude to after it fell into the tar pits or whatever). I've attached an image of a couple of mammoth statues from the La Brea tar pits for reference. Also, if we are going this route I'd like to give it an ability that weakens Ground-type hits on it or cancels them out all together (a la Thick Fat or Sap Sipper, respectively, but for Ground).
