Most teams run one of the Tapus so as a grounded mon it gets to enjoy the Terrain effects.
Now it can be immune to Sucker Punch/Shadow Sneak instead of being OHKO'd or it can switch into a Breloom using Spore or other funny stuff like that.
Besides if Tapu Bulu becomes a dominant force in the meta, expect ground-type attacks to be used less and less so the EQ weakness shouldn't matter nearly as much as it would have in the last gen.
