>>37389922Cute! I like the idea. Aside from general shakiness I think you need to work on using shadow to create shape, like right now the face is pretty flat. I think you should try giving hard edged shadows a go! I found when I was just getting into art that I used blurred shadows as a crutch that saved me from having to define them well, but learning to do hard edged shadows is great for developing the experience needed for doing soft shadows in a way that still gives off depth and shape. Nice pose and attitude! Looking forward to seeing more larp starters!

>>37391484Aw ye bastard
That's sweet! Your linework is a little wobbly but that's great, I love how bold it is.
>>37391810Beautiful one again, I love the patterns on the shell. Your art looks like it draws a lot from old Asian watercolours, that's awesome. Your poses are really lovely and natural feeling, I'd love to see more of your art.
>>37392262Ayy thanks for joining in! Yeah I agree with the advice that you need to work on understanding the underlying forms. Look for guides that break up pokemon and animals into base shapes, and yeah unfortunately it will take some patience! Practice is a bit of an xp grind but it pays off quickly. It looks like you are good at paying attention to overall proportion so with a little study good understanding of shape should come pretty easy to you
