>>58605684Glad you enjoyed chapter 4! Brainstorming how all the different type-energies feel and what ‘ingredients’ they need to summon. It’ll be hard for Miirym to explain grass-typing, might be something Simon needs to feel out himself. The biggest challenge is explaining how to mold it into more complex moves. If emotions are the clay, then intent is how you shape it. Tackle is easy to learn because it’s basic in emotion AND intent, you just wanna hit that guy. Razor Leaf? Gotta picture what you want in your head. A clearer, more confident intent results in a stronger manifestation of the move. Simple enough, but it gets tricky to do so in the middle of combat without experience. I’m glad the PoV swapping was enjoyable, I felt like I needed to flesh Miirym out a little more. And yeah, you got the pronunciation right!
>>58605833So Trevenant did swoop in and steal the KO. Interesting the military doesn’t have anywhere to hold dangerous Pokémon (you’d think they’d be all over that), but that does lead to other facilities having to come up with creative ways to do it themselves, I’d be interested to hear their plans for other types, the ghost one was pretty funny. An after-hour chat with Fedorark huh? Wonder what’s on her mind.
>>58606197Great stuff, interesting to see more in how normal, non-transformed people have been affected by what’s going on, not surprised grocery stores and pharmacies are shitshows. Hoppip mentioned! Luckily Churchanon was there to help him out, probably woulda been super scary being tossed around by the wind.
>>58607284Cool stuff here, really like how you’ve described this psychic dream realm, and very interested in this antagonist you’ve set up (Malamar?). Wonder if they’ll eventually come to blows, or if this will be more of an investigation, cat and mouse chase sort of thing, either would be fun.
