Talonflame is not a Pokemon that needs to evolve again: he looks damn good, he's the size of previous fully-evolved early birds, and the tentative stat calcs are consistent with a third stage mon. Additionally, the dex spacing and the huge jump between Fletchling and Talonflame indicates a mon in between, who could potentially be a pretty cool guy.
