Let's be creative!
With Flying Press, Gen 6 introduced the first dual-type move. Although this move in particular isn't too useful, the concept of dual-type moves is pretty cool and could give a Pokemon great coverage and expand an otherwise limited moveset.
So let's come up with useful/interesting but also realistic dual-type moves which GF could/should implement in future games!
We do it like this:
-Name
-Primary Type/Secondary Type
-Relevant stats(Like Power, Accuracy, PP..)
-(Additional) Effect(s)
-Distribution + Info (is it a signature move? Can it be used outside of battle? How does it look etc.)
Example:
-Ectoplasm
-Ghost/Poison
-Special / Power80 / Acc.:95 / 10pp
-30% chance to cause paralysis
-Signature move of Gengar, but should be available to some other Ghost types as well (the more "incorporeal" ones, like Spiritomb or Rotom, but not Aegislash, Golurk or Sableeye) via breeding or TM.
The user becomes transparent and floats right through the opponent, leaving him drenched in greenish goo.
2. Example:
-Fallout
-Steel/Poison
-Special / Power95 / Acc.:100 / 10pp
-30% chance to burn opponent
-not a signature move of an existing Pokemon, but would fit a nuclear/radiation themed Pokemon! Available to Weezing, Mug, Garbodor, Magnezone, Probopass.
The arena turns into a dark red while the camera zooms in on the user who starts to emit a bright light. Think of a more menacing looking dazzling gleam! It hits every surrounding Pokemon, like EQ. It's especially deadly for Fairies!
Now it's your turn! Have fun!
