>>33805083oke. I'll try to focus on "reused ideas" then
Cyndaquil is an echidna, not a rat.
Hoothoot, Noctowl, and Murkrow are owls and a crow respectively. Show me an owl or crow from Gen1.
Politoed is a frog, not a tadpole.
What the hell are Hoppip, Sunkern, and Aipom copying? The only close one is Aipom/Mankey, but Mankey is a baboon while AIpom is more of a generic monkey.
Gligar is more of a scorpion than it is a bat, if that's what you're getting at.
Heracross is a different species of stag beetle than Pinsir.
What exactly is Remoraid copying? Being a fish?
Skarmory does resemble Fearow to a degree, I'll give you that, but the whole "it's a bird" argument is retarded as there are thousands if not tens of thousands of birds in the world, and many of them do look similar. It's called evolution.
Tyrogue is meant to explain two mons with similar names in the previous gen, being a student of the martial arts in general. Hitmontop expands on this idea by introducing a Hitmon based on a differing fighting style.
What exactly is wrong with Lugia and Ho-oh? or is this just the 'its a bird" argument again?
