Now because the series itself is 3D, even if the presentation is plainly inferior to that of Stadium and Battle Revolution, there's no reason for such product to exist.
Not even because none of the games moving forward will have all of the existing Pokémon and mechanics would justify it, like people wish HOME had it's own Showdown-like mode.
Assuming competitive is still a thing moving forwards, VGC has been cancelled after 2020, there were no ranked matches in BDSP, Legends ditched IVs and online battles and Scarlet & Violet seems to be following suit
