Machamp is horrendous (trust me I have a lvl 30 one with the best moves, still loses to Snorlax)
Golem is a poor man's Rhydon
Gengar is average (I didn't actually mention him in the first place)
Alakazam is has the best DPS in the game, and because of it, the best dodge-attacker
And I didn't mean catchrate sorry, I was talking about it's escape rare (which is 99%), meaning you're more likely to not catch it.
And rarity doesn't mean anything, you say you catch loads of Abra, well I get several Geodudes a day. I think only a few Pokemon are rare as fuck worldwide, such as most of the 10k mons, Grimer and Porygon
But back to the point, Golem is almost unusable on both Attack and Defense, because of most of the common meta countering it hard with Grass and Water
