But I feel Ohmura went his way and made each stage feel unique. Froakie’s foam works like a hood and loot sack which shows it’s a 1st stage starter with effort put into the design. Frogadier looks like a frog burglar which is badass enough. Greninja established itself as a unique frog design while still retaining the charm of the pre evos somewhat. It’s probably the frog eyes. It’s what makes Froakie adorable and it’s nice Greninja retained that.
