I think this is the most fortunate roll of the run so far. Just rolled a nat 10 in Undella Town, which allows me to swap a team member for a dead mon. Was a tough decision, as I was really excited to use Marowak.. but decided to revive my Krook in his place. Sorry, Rubix :(
>>43061391There's a few different rulesets under the name Dicelocke, but the one I'm using utilizes a list and a dice system where I roll a d20 (route/wild area) or a d10 (city/town) and act according to the list. Decided to do one last second when I started Blaze Black 2 to add a bit of variety to my run.
Similar to tabletop rpg's like D&D, a high roll is better than a low roll. My list ranges from being forced to permabox a teammate, release a dead mon, or be banned from using a mart/center in a town, to being able to revive a dead mon, getting an extra encounter on a route I've been to already, or even ignoring the first death on the route I rolled for.
RNG ultimately decides my fate, and I could be fucked over at any moment, like when I rolled a 2 and had to forcibly box my Victini right before Burgh.. eventually resulting in 5/6 of my team dying to him :'D
