Well there was the time I was on the phone with my brother and I hatched a shiny Magikarp in 5 eggs. Excited to start a new hunt, I asked him, the one who got me into Pokémon what my next hunt should be. He said Koffing, so I stuck one in the daycare and got a shiny on the very first egg.
