You can extrapolate a lot of what XYinsider said from the game using some educated guesswork and some mild understanding of how the game development/conceptualization process goes. In theory, any mildly educated armchair dev could've come up with most of what XYinsider said, so them being "right" can be chalked up to educated and lucky guesses.
But because of that very same reasoning, I can't deny the possibility of the aliens plot being real, because I DO have that understanding and education, and most of their extrapolations make sense. I just think it's not because they're an insider, they're just a skilled bullshit artist.
