Nobody cares about the story mode being tailored around a specified set of pokemon, that is fine, but when you beat the game, you should be able to use ANY pokemon you want as a reward. The games have no fucking end game as it is, so them choosing to remove the national dex is nothing new, but another ineptitude on Gamefreak's list, and the fact that people continue to support and defend a series that is GENERATIONS behind the industry, and any other studio would be bankrupted on the spot if they tried to pull the same shit is so annoying as a pokemon fan. But it will fucking sell because the community is so starved they will take literal shit if it scratches the pokemon itch.
