I just said that if your concern is that relying on old content can lead to a lower quality and/or stale experience, then you should look back to read about people's opinions about the game at the time of its release to verify that. Clearly, significantly more people were engaged enough in the game to be satisfied with the experience instead of bemoaning over Pidgeys and warp puzzles, so it's all good for XY.
