One of my very first bros is finally better. I don't care that it isn't going to be a world-destroyer like Kangaskhan or Charizard: it is an improvement and some actual thought went into making it stand out and have some use.
I also like the explanation they give for the long streamer crest. It acts as a sensitive antenna and flight stabilizer. Presumably it senses changes in air currents, pressure, and wind direction. Kinda like the opposite of why Airbenders shave their heads. Works well enough with game biology.
