Why can't people realize this? Game Freak has been doing this shit for a long time now. They're not going to dump ALL their content into the first released games of each generation. Just look at Platinum. (Battle Frontier, Move Tutors, etc,)
The way I look at it, it's actually a good idea that they don't include much content afterwards. Game Freak could just find out about what to do with X and Y, then fix whatever and build upon what's necessary, just like what they've been fucking doing for the previous generations. Who knows, maybe they'll even go as far as to even making simple edits in some of the 3-D pokemon models similar to how it was for pokemon to get different sprites from the previous games.
It's kind of interesting how people bitch about the lack of post-game content for the first two installments of 6th gen when no one said anything about any other generation, not even 3rd. All R/S got was just Battle Tower, but then Emerald came about and we got:
>Battle Frontier >obligatory Move Tutors>access to both Kyogre and Groudon, >your personal choice of which Eon pokemon to pick upon starting the game after completion, the>The chance to fight StevenI'm probably missing other stuff, but you get the idea.
I will admit, 2nd gen did have pretty good content afterwards despite not just being released only on Crystal. I guess going into the Kanto region is like the 2nd gen equivalent of getting the National Dex. tl;dr People should stop bitching about post-game content in X and Y because these games will follow a possibly similar formula as the previous generations and their future installments.
