>>46470223Nah. Pokemon was good longer than it was shit. Sonic immediately fell off after 4 games after S&K beginning with Saturn. Meanwhile Pokemon was good for at least 5 gens straight, and that includes extra versions, remakes and spin offs so its not just 5 games, more like dozens.
Sure we got some children here coping mega hard about Kalos and Alola having """"soul""""" but the older fans generally have a lot more ammunition to deal with that and keep the veil dispelled for all to see. Sonic doesn't have that luxury because SEGA actively fractures the fanbase into tribes with its boneheaded decisions based on indecisiveness and lack of a spine.
Really in Pokemon its just Gen 1-5 fans vs Gen 6-8 fags. Even though some Gen 1-2 oldfags and normalfags infight with 3-5 ones and are blamed for the state of this franchise 6 onwards it can still generally be agreed upon that the whole journey was good. Sonic? Classicpedos vs. Adventure autists vs. Boostshitters vs. Archiefags vs. Boomfags vs.... You get the picture.
