This artstyle is so bad it's killed any hype I had for these games. I get it. The game might be fine. It might even be the best remake ever in terms of gameplay. But when the design is so fucking bad I'm embarrassed for it....I just can't.
I'm honestly shocked any developer would be okay with this. I've never felt alienated by a mainstream games design till this reveal. Who did they aim this for? It's so generic, toy like, simplistic that I can only imagine it was intended to be a mobile game for the ages 2-5.
