Triangulation is impossible out here. Rural properties are huge, so it's a long way from one road to another. If something appears on Sightings while you're walking down a rural road, you better pray it's near the road. Can't walk onto anybody's property, so if it's too far away to reach from the road, it's a lost cause.
In fact, this just happened to me with a Mareep. Walked up and down my road, but couldn't find it. Means it was too far from the road on someone's property, so it was out of reach.
