In time, Hoenn paid for their sins, as the fallout soon reached them and the other regions as well. Their government shared the same fate of Kanto and Johto's.
By 2057, the sight of mutated and extremely agressive Pokemon became common. The survivors then gathered what little they could and built walled villages to defend themselves from the mutated pokemon.
