i wish that male humans had some sort of obvious feature that would show that they are by far the best mate around, barring other males from mates completely. i know that we have things like humor, athleticism/muscle tone, intelligence, facial structure etc to woo mates, but nothing completely concrete and obvious that shows complete reproductive dominance. orangutans dont have this problem; the flanged male has nearly complete control over all possible mates. all he has to do is show his flanges. if humans had something like this, all of you would be shown your place when the powerful flanged male arrived, and took dawn as his bride (if she were real).
