>>40312387Stunfisk is a design that isn't too crazy compared to the early days, so I tried to show the more gradual changes over time. Went with a sharper, more flounder-like tail in Gen 1 (without a marking).
Gen 2 had very round markings, so I went with something like Wooper's chest markings. Gen 2 also had a lot of beady eyes, so I went with that here.
Gen 3 was pretty much a mixture of Gens 2 and 4/5 -- as a whole, I think of those designs as a nice blend between the distinct styles of the early franchise and design points more common today.
For Gen 6/7, I went with a lightning bolt shaped mark, because if there's anything that can be said for today's designs, it's that subtly is often lost. I also increased the saturation and gave the yellow a weird tint, as I think of when I look at the Gen 7 art as a whole (probably due to Ohmura's art). I also rounded off the shapes and gave it colored sclera.
