>>55347988>Even with more advanced AI tech, you still see the weird smudging.I think shit like that is because at the end of the day, what we call "AI" isn't even really 'intelligent' per se. Because it's not actually sentient (read: conscious), it will always have this slight knock-off vibe that's more readily apparent when it's trying to imitate some defined style to begin with.
Or to put it in another way, AI art hits that uncanny valley area for the same reason our dreams do: because something will always get jumbled in the process.
