>>49575223Pokemon is fantasy. They don't have to be bound to specific rules or anything of that sort. Since gen I we had pokemon based off mimes, bodybuilders, hypnotists and magicians, off myths, some inspired by nurses. Some of these are also among the most popular among Pokémon fans. People were going to fap to Pokémon either way, the eeveelutions are pretty much at the top of what people who fap to Pokémon look at. Combined the eeveelutions tower every other Pokémon line. That doesn't mean they should stop promoting that line, they're very popular among fans.
As I said many, many times the issues lies with some of you wanting the Pokémon to be more than what they are. I have constantly pointed out that the context, albeit underdeveloped, had been there since Gen I. Professor Oak even said as much, since one of the very first thing he compares Pokémon ownership is to that of pets. Pokémon have always been wild creatures you catch in the wild and the pokedex expands their lore as being more than just monsters that give you exp like in other games but makes the world a living world. Would you get this flustered over anthropomorphic non-human primates being treated the same? They would be humanlike in appearance with humanlike mannerisms after all.
