With Skill Trigger S alone, it appears to have a skill trigger rate on-par with a Wigglytuff that has both Skill Trigger S, and a Main Skill Chance boosted nature.
However, BFS does reduce the chances of Gardevoir having a main skill trigger ready when waking from sleep.
Gardevoir is a straight upgrade to Wigglytuff in many ways. An alternative berry, arguably better ingredients, , faster helping speed, greater skill trigger chance, which together combined make it both a better strength contributor and better healer with less reliance on subskills to achieve a level of performance on-par with an optimal Wigglytuff (like my shiny one, pic related).
I'd be hard pressed to retire my beloved shiny Wiggly, but there could come a time where she's relegated to dedicated to Cyan Beach, whereas a Gardevoir would be used everywhere else and especially good on Lapis Lakeside.
