5's my favorite because some of its locations and setpieces go big on the spectacle, which I dig. and also seasons give some of the outdoor locations eye-pleasing aesthetics
for me 2 is carried by its vibrant colors and beautiful spritework. nights are kino
4 is alright. has moments where it looks like unpolished early ds jank, more so in its interiors, but more often than not it looks incredibly solid. it bringing back the day/night cycle is also a plus
3's tilesets can get pretty ugly, but it still has its moments where it occasionally looks alright. also wish it had a day/night cycle
1 is just ugly, there's no sugarcoating it
haven't played the rest so I can't rank them in good faith, but from what I've seen, I wouldn't be impressed with them
