which is not to say it couldn't work. it's a klefki situation. the actual base idea, a winter sprite that piles snow on its head, which ends up looking like a icecream cone, could actually work. Reminds me of Sprinkles the Ponderosa mascot. or even the old 1950s Jack Frost mascot for Sprite soda. Or Snow Miser.
vanillite's slightly too on the nose but more or less fine. When it evolves, you let it keep the arms it had as vanillite, maybe even give it legs, if you want to get edgy with it make it the limbs look a little like Hydros the Ice Titan, if you want it to stay cute, maybe it forms a double-scoop snowman, you absolutely don't make it grow a second fucking head, one of which has a goddamn straw sticking out of it, and give it a grin that looks exactly as lobotomized as something with a straw sticking out of its brain would have. God I hate vanilluxe.
