>>56202713I was curious so I went to check, and yeah, DPPt requires you seeing every single Pokemon in the Sinnoh dex for you to get the National Pokedex, which means you're locked out of stuff like Pal Park, and I believe the Battle Frontier / the entire postgame island (not sure about the last part).
Meanwhile postgame BW/BW2 just requires you to beat the E4, which mean you can feasibly miss certain Pokemon during the main story and find them later, unlike Gen 4 where you need to find them or you're locked out of content. This is why Drifloon was such a big issue when BDSP launched, since it didn't spawn the same day you beat Valley Windworks, and the only place to see one for your regional dex was a gym trainer in Hearthrome gym that required getting basic math wrong.
Obviously this is bait but it is pretty funny that things are exactly the opposite of what anon is saying.
