I don't know why they leave Fully evolved mons in the back so often, but i hope it changes in this gen. After all, all the fully evolved starters this gen were very well received, and Greninja even went as far as climbing many peoples list as one of the best pokes ever, so they'd be fools not to pander to them more extensively.
