although for gens 5 and 6, you need to save the save file on a date that's inbetween the legitimate obtain period, otherwise people can find out it's not "legit"
example: u.s. diancie was available between oct 16 2014 and feb 28 2015, so your computer has to be set between those dates when you save the save file in pkhex
or just use a program called runasdate to make the program think you saved it on that date
gen 4 and 8 don't matter as the mon's obtain date is set when you get it from the delivery dude
