N (who is white) is a direct descendent of a king who ruled 1000s of years ago in the irl counterpart of NYC. Nothing at all like it's actual history. If you give history to an African inspired region that isn't filled with colonialization from other races from ~150 years ago, then you don't need to tiptoe around it. If white people can exist 2500 years ago in pokemon NYC, then you can have as many races you want in pokemon Tanzania or whatever.
As long as they don't do something really fucking stupid like picrel, then TPC should be fine.
