Shills will tell you that you're not allowed to complain about the slow information because people complained so much about gen 7's reveals, but they'll also casually leave out the fact that not every pokemon is returning and, thus, the slow information is detrimental because we don't yet have a good idea of even how many pokemon are in the pokemon game. All we know is that less than a third of pokemon are returning currently. They've revealed more new trainers than they've had new pokemon.
