You can easily get another 30-40 hours out of the game after beating Dialga and Palkia to get Volo beat and get Arceus. Even more if you want the pokedex finished for the shiny charm.
If you want to get really technical, you could also perfect the dex, or at least individual entries, it DOES have the tangible reward of increasing shiny chances a second time over for that specific pokemon. And it's as much content as breeding was in the old style, anyway.
