i'm not denying that ~70 pokemon is a little disappointing, but i'd rather have a smaller batch of generally well-designed mons (aromisse is unforgivable, i will admit that) than a shitload of terrible ones

why does a remake of a "bad" game make you think it will be inherently shitty? FRLG was miles ahead of RBY, and was a major improvement in most aspects, and RBY are my favorites of the series
not saying hoenn remakes will be great (or even good), but calling a yet-to-be-made remake of a game you didn't enjoy "bad" seems a bit unreasonable
