The more I look at Arceus the more I realize it has a very unique design among pokemon, even legendaries/mythicals.
It's not really as statuesque as the creation trio, yet it doesn't look very "organic" either.
Its programmed encounter (the Azure flute, and the Sinjoh Ruins) are very eerie in nature.
They definitely nailed the impression of Arceus standing above every other being in the setting.
