Since Ash is no longer the protagonist mean he can reappear as a champion who uses a super OP Lucario to win his fights like how Cynthia uses Garchamp for most of her fight. Maybe it will reveal that Ash and Lucario lost to another main legendary Pokemon and decided to go on intense training under Riley on Iron Island to get stronger where Lucario develop its own physical strength and speed to knock out regular pokemon without using any moves (Like Bewear ) and use Aura. Now Ash travel around the world in search for worthy opponent and challenge Legendary Pokemon for battle.
