But of course the fact that Ash loses the league to some literal who with legendary Pokemon sours the episode.
Battle aboard St. Anne has a lot of funny moments but on one hand it shows Ash is still an easily swayed kid when he trades away his Butterfree after getting sweet talked into it, but on the other the fact that Brock and Misty don't do anything to make him reconsider or really think it over seems kinda out of character (even after Brock comes out of his love high)
