Read up on human vision, eyes, and FOV and I think 100 FOV is alright. This combined with the 5:3 3DS aspect ratio gives me about 60 FOV, and 100/60 is a bit less than human vision but it'd look weird without some vertex shaders and I don't know how to put that in Blender, and it turns out we have about 30 vertical FOV upward and 70 vertical FOV downward so I shifted the view down a little so there's more downward FOV. Good starting point I guess.
