While Harkin was explaining his wrong theory about Shadow Pokemon; Wash had exited the Underground and went to the Cipher Key Lab up in Eclo Canyon. He turned the Gardevoir over and had it's heart closed. Pity for such a pure and elegant creature; but if one thing was going to break Harkin, it was his first Pokemon getting turned into a fighting machine.
The scientist that turned the Gardevoir over had a horrid look on his face, as if he witnessed the heart closing; and it scarred him for life.
Wash didn't care. Now he can be anywhere. Anytime. And he chose Realgem Tower. But first, it was time to taunt.
Wash released his new Shadow Gardevoir. Instead of the green hair and elegant white dress; it had purple hair and a ragged look; like it was a perfect fighting machine.
