(1) In the AU two-parter, Dawn and Goh both jump through the warp gate after AU Team Rocket. From there, Dawn gets the bright idea to take Goh to "her house" in the AU and then he's brought to her room where he's there with the two Dawns, which led to the "Goh, how come you get TWO Dawns" joke. This episode also features Ash and Chloe paired together, which gave Bloomboltshippers some of the little material they work with too; Gohkari just spawned from someone having the same idea, just with the other duo paired in this episode.
(2) In the "Arceus Chronicles" special, Goh insisted on getting a picture taken with Dawn wearing her Akari outfit, and she was happy to oblige. Later in the episode, they sit next to each other in Brock's rocket car.
