>>38967406I always play with new pokémon through my first run, always rotate my teams (except the starter) so I can get to experience the most variety of combinations between new and old-but from the route mons and always use pokémon I've never used before and still end up transfering mons, either because they're already trained and ready to go, I like them, or I'll use them as breeding stock for the same species with updated balls, natures, EVs and movesets to accomodate for the current meta. Also after my Ruby died my bro became also one of my oldest mons to date so I'm not leaving it behind.
